ORIGINAL POST: Are you thinking about your wedding even though you don't have a ring? That's OK. If you know your "Mr. Right" is in fact Mr. Right, then you know, you know?
Maybe you aren't ready to start full-blown wedding planning, but you can start feeling out your own style. Go ahead and start collecting photos (whether pages torn from magazines or pictures downloaded from websites) and keep them in a file. Don't limit yourself to wedding magazines -- sometimes design magazines and catalogues (like Pottery Barn) can have great ideas on colors, vases, styles.
Just start collecting. When you are ready, later, to start full planning, you can peruse these photos and get great ideas. Did you note mostly bright colors and modern designs? Did you focus on roses and subtle colors? Did you lean toward lots and lots of greenery?
This collection of photos can help you when you start planning your wedding, and also when you meet with florists. A great wedding florist will want to hear your ideas first -- and then create a wedding design for you, personally.
